We are excited to announce the launch of a new series of Commemorative Playbook covers as NFTs on the Flare Network. Our friends at BlockJocks first approached us right after Season 2.0 ended with this totally awesome design celebrating the Zappers’ win over the Bored Ape FC in the People’s Championship game.
The artwork is incredible and over the last few months we worked together to design out this limited edition collectibles set that showcases the passion, excitement and fun of the first two seasons of Fan Controlled Football. The ability for us to collaborate with Flare and roll these out as a new project on their emerging blockchain really helped to bring this all to life.
“We learned during our experience with the Ballerz Collective last year just how important the creative is in any web3 project,” explained FCF Co-Founder Grant Cohen. “When I first saw the rendering of the S2 championship cover, I texted Zappers QB Kelly Bryant a picture of himself as this comic book superhero – and he wrote back immediately asking how he could get a copy. I knew then that this was something we needed to develop for all of our teams and even our S1 champs to commemorate it with our owners, players and especially the fans”
Flare was the natural choice to host this NFT collection.
